Projects
Projects is the task and project management app built into every Collabase Space. It brings together a Kanban board, sprint planning, backlog management, a Gantt-style roadmap, queue-based helpdesk workflows, SLA tracking, and a customer portal — all in one place. Every Space can have multiple Projects. Each Project is a self-contained workspace with its own workflow, task types, members, and settings. Tasks within a project move through custom statuses, can be organized into sprints or queues, and tracked against SLA targets.Feature areas

Project Templates
Reusable configurations that bundle a workflow, task types, and field collections. Apply on project creation to skip manual setup.
Tasks
The fundamental unit of work. Every task has a status, type, assignee, priority, due date, rich-text description, comments, attachments, subtasks, linked tasks, and a full change history.
Board
A Kanban board where columns represent statuses. Drag tasks between columns to update their status. Configure swimlanes, card fields, and color rules.
Sprints
Group tasks into time-boxed iterations. Track velocity with burndown charts and story points. Manage sprint scope with a dedicated backlog.
Backlog
The holding area for all tasks not assigned to a sprint. Prioritize by dragging tasks, filter by any field, and assign tasks to upcoming sprints.
Roadmap
A Gantt-style timeline view. Tasks with start and due dates appear as bars. Sprint periods appear as colored bands in the background.
Queues
Named filtered views within a project. Ideal for support teams, review pipelines, or any workflow that needs structured triage.
SLA Policies
Set response and resolution time targets per priority level. Collabase tracks breaches automatically and surfaces them in board and queue views.
Workflows
Define custom statuses with names, colors, and categories. Control which status transitions are allowed and configure task types with field rules.
Customer Portal
A branded external view for customers to submit tickets and track their status — no Collabase account required.
Views
Switch between views using the view toggle in the top bar of any project.Roles and access
Project access is managed independently from Space membership. A Space member does not automatically have access to every project in that Space.
Manage project members from Project → Settings → Members.
Admin configuration
Administrators can configure global task types and custom fields that are available across all projects in the instance. Set these up in Admin → Task Types and Admin → Custom Fields. Global settings cascade down: global → space → project, with each level able to extend but not override the level above.
