Collabase is a self-hosted collaboration platform built for teams that care about where their data lives. It combines a knowledge base, task tracking, test management, workflow automation, and internal communication — running entirely on your own servers.

What Collabase is for

Collabase is designed for teams that need one place for documentation, tasks, and project work — without sending their data to external cloud services. It is a good fit for organizations that:
  • Operate under GDPR or European data protection requirements
  • Have a policy against storing sensitive content outside company infrastructure
  • Want full control over their collaboration tools and data

Why self-hosted

When you run Collabase on your own infrastructure, your data stays on your servers — under your control. There is no usage-based billing, no vendor lock-in, and no third party involved in storing your documentation or test results.

The apps

Collabase is organized around integrated apps. Each app lives inside a Space and works alongside the others.

Wiki & Docs

Collaborative knowledge base with rich-text pages, templates, version history, and full-text search.

Task Management

Kanban, list, calendar, Gantt, sprints, story points, and time tracking — all in one place.

Test Management

Organize test projects, suites, cases, runs, and result tracking for your QA process.

Automation

Visual workflow builder with 40+ native connectors — no code required.

Brain (Local AI)

AI assistant and semantic search — powered entirely by your own AI model. No data leaves your server.

Intranet

Announcements, blog posts, and company-wide updates for your whole organization.

How it all fits together

Everything in Collabase lives inside a Space — a container for a department, project, or product area. Spaces have their own members, permissions, and app settings. One Collabase instance can host as many Spaces as you need. A shared permission model and a unified search bar connect every Space. A task can link to the page that describes the feature. An automation can notify your team when a test run fails. New team members can find everything about a project — documentation, tasks, and test results — without switching tools.

Pricing & Licensing

Collabase is free to use for teams of up to 10 users. If you have more than 10 users, or if you need enterprise features such as audit logs, single sign-on (SSO/IdP), and advanced security policies, you must purchase a license.
