The Birthdays widget on the Intranet home shows upcoming team birthdays for the next 30 days, providing a simple way to recognize and celebrate teammates.

How it works

  1. Team members who want to be recognized add their birthday to their Profile → Personal → Birthday
  2. The birthday widget on the Intranet home shows names and dates for upcoming birthdays
  3. On a team member’s birthday, they appear at the top of the widget with a celebration indicator 🎂

Privacy

  • Birthdays are opt-in — the widget only shows people who have explicitly set their birthday in their profile
  • The year of birth is never shown — only month and day
  • Users can remove their birthday from their profile at any time and they’ll be removed from the widget immediately

Admin configuration

Admins can disable the birthday widget entirely under Admin → Intranet Config → Display → Show Birthdays Widget.
